Founder’s Story

Tetsuya Kobayashi, the founder of GENKI BIKE, personally experienced the helplessness and anxiety caused by the dependence of traditional electric vehicles on fixed charging facilities during an extreme ride. He realized that the richest and cleanest energy source on Earth—solar energy—was being ignored by mainstream transportation.

It was this belief in “energy being everywhere and freedom within reach” that drove the birth of GENKI BIKE. We are determined to break with tradition and redefine the future of personal mobile energy with innovative technology and green concepts.

Sustainable development commitment

Battery recycling program

We are collaborating with local Vietnamese professional organizations to establish a battery recycling and reuse system that meets international standards. It is projected that by 2028, Vietnam will have 1.2 million retired batteries, and we will ensure that every battery is handled safely and environmentally, achieving closed-loop management from production to recycling.

Energy Equality Promotion

We are considering promoting low-cost GENKI BIKE solar kits in remote areas of Vietnam to leverage the advantages of mobile energy, improve the travel and electricity conditions of local residents, and fulfill our corporate social responsibility.

GENKI Academy
